By using Hifzuna you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. The service
Hifzuna is a tool for memorizing and studying the Quran: text, recitations, practice, quizzes and review. It is a study aid and not a substitute for a qualified teacher. Recitation and tajwid are best learned by listening to and reciting with a teacher.
2. Using it
You may use the app for your own personal learning. Please do not misuse the service, overload it, try to break into it, or copy it in bulk.
3. Accounts
An account is optional. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account and its cloud data at any time from the Account page. How your data is handled is explained on the Privacy page.
4. Content and accuracy
The Quran text is not owned by us. The sources of the text, translations, transliteration, tajwid markup and recitations are listed on the Sources and licenses page, and their rights stay with their owners. We take care to show the text exactly as received, but we cannot guarantee that every translation, transliteration, tajwid label, explanation or automatically found list of similar ayat is free of mistakes. Please report anything you find.
5. Third-party content
Recitations are streamed from third-party sources and belong to their reciters or producers. If you are a rights holder and want something removed, contact us and we will act on it.
6. Donations
Donations are voluntary and are not refundable. They do not give you any right, feature or service.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as it is, without promises of availability or that it is free of errors. We may change or stop parts of it, and we may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using, or being unable to use, the service, including lost progress. You can export a backup of your progress from the Progress page.
